Stand on business
People move mad, then come back like nothing happened. Like they didn’t switch sides, ruin trust, or move dumb thinking no one would clock. But the real madness isn’t even what you did, it’s the coming back like everything should be all calm.
No one’s saying you can’t make your own decisions. Do your thing. But be accountable. If you fumbled, you fumbled. Don’t try to flip the script once you realise the grass wasn’t greener on the other side. You made your bed. Lie in it.
Own those choices, even if it costs you. Even when the apology don’t fix it. Even when the door doesn’t open back up.
Some people stop respecting you because you keep trying to walk back into the rooms you disrespected on your way out. You keep reaching into places that felt your absence and moved on. That kind of behaviour doesn’t bring peace at all. It just confirms why you got locked out in the first place.
So when you make your choice, make it with chest.
Stand on it.
Because if you meant it in that moment, you’ve got to mean after too.
